Quick Progress

For beginning bloggers the cash flow comes in the form of ad clicks that your visitors click on when they visit your site like the one pictured here to the left. The actual ad is to the right as well.

Different blogging programs and platforms do not allow you to put ads up unless you first own your own website domain and have a company host your data. The main reason I started with Blogger.com was because it was free and allowed ad hosting and then my goal was to eventually earn enough to purchase my own domain and have my website hosted!

Setting up an Google Ad sense account was incredibly easy. The blogger.com help hints were easy to understand and follow. They even had a few tips on how to get your ads noticed. I am off to research more on Adbrite and Spottt.com. There are a plethora of services and information sites out there about blogging and making money on it. My hopes are to consolidate it all for you to save you time and hopefully earn you some money!
